Canyonlands National Park

9/3/24 - Grocery shopping, another successful mountain-bike ride on the trails north of Moab, and a dip in the RV resort pool and hot tub after dinner.

9/4/24 - We enjoyed the panoramic views of canyons from the elevated Island in the Sky portion of the park (there are three other areas that are harder to access from Moab). The views reminded us of the Grand Canyon but WITHOUT THE CROWDS!! 😊 We hiked several trails to stand on the rim in several places.

We also hiked to see Upheaval Dome, a strange formation they think could be from a meteorite strike
