9/20/27 - We drove about 7 hours this day from Lincoln, NE, to where Pat's brother, Jeff, lives with his wife, Trina, in Wellington, CO (north of Fort Collins).

We were able to hook up next to their house and sleep in our own bed

We got to meet Teddy for the first time. He is a very good boy and loves cuddling. He likes to fetch and I helped him learn "drop" so it wasn't always tug of war when he brought the toy back.

We had dinner and hung out with Trina's cousin and son.

9/21/26 - Pat, Jeff, Josh (Jeff's son), and Rick (Jeff's friend) golfed 9 holes. Trina, Teddy, and I drove ~30 minutes north into Wyoming to visit the Terry Bison Ranch.

the three of us took their train excursion to visit some bison. This part of their (very large) herd is used to tourists giving them treats, so they came over and we hand-fed them. Fun!

9/22/26 - Another animal-filled day 😁!! The four of us went to pick up baby goats.

It was time to replace goats that had passed away in the past year so we picked these cuties up. They LOVE people and cry when they cannot be near you.

Trina also has two miniature donkeys and several chickens. We enjoyed farm-fresh eggs every morning. The guys golfed again in the afternoon while Trina and I spent time with the animals and relaxed.

9/23/26 - After brunch in Wellington, we said our goodbyes and Pat and I drove ~3 hours south to the Colorado Springs area, stopping at another Buc-ees "gas station" on the way. We finally encountered rain and cooler temperatures...our RV park is at 8400ft of elevation.

9/24/26 - A relaxing day inside the RV. We saw several mule deer when we went out for a run.
