Grand Teton Nat. Park Part 1

6/21/24 - Pat and I loaded up our bikes into the back of the truck and drove to Grand Teton National Park (about 1.5 hours from our RV park). One of our favorite things about this park are the mountains' distinctive peaks.

The park has a many miles of paved bike trails so we road approximately 9 miles south before returning

When we got back to the RV, Jeff and Trina (Pat's brother and wife) had arrived from Colorado. They stayed 3 nights in the same RV park.

Cowboy loves his Uncle Pat!

6/22/24 - The five of us drove around the park, listening to the GuideAlong audio guide Pat and I purchased. We really enjoy the "Must See" stops and history that the "Guide Guy" shares.

Highlights of the day: seeing animals up close. There is an elk behind Trina and me.

Elk enjoying grass on the side of the road

We enjoyed a late lunch in the town of Jackson. We learned that the whole area is called Jackson Hole...not the town.

On the way home, we drove by a herd of bison
We had a good laugh at how hard it was to start this campfire. PAM works if you don't have lighter fluid!
