7/8/24 - We didn't do more than chores and a short walk near the RV park.

7/9/24 - We drove about 3 hours to Helena, Montana, where we walked through the state capitol building and had a great Italian dinner in town.

Montana State Capitol in Helena, MT
Gorgeous stained glass, including this section of roof
Coffee and pizza - what more do you need?! (Near our campground in Helena)

7/10/24 - We had a 5 hour drive north through Rocky Mountain foothills, past pretty lakes, and to West Glacier, Montana (right outside of Glacier National Park). Our RV park is right on US-2...the same one Midwesterners may have been on in upper Michigan / Wisconsin!! (It goes from St. Ignace, MI, to Seattle, WA!!)

We passed several fields filled with yellow flowers
Also tons of cherry orchards near Flathead Lake

We stayed in one of the cabins for one night in the West Glacier RV Park and Cabins before we did some tent camping in the park several years ago.
