9/10/25 - After driving by Buffalo, New York, we drove along the southern shore of Lake Erie through Pennsylvania and into Ohio.

We were very happy with our campsite at the KOA we had booked east of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. We had big trees and only the sounds of lots of crickets at night. Our last place was right next to I90 and it sounded, and FELT, like the trucks were going to come right through our RV!
9/11/25 - The Cuyahoga Valley NP includes a section of the now-abandoned Ohio and Erie Canal and we were able to ride our bikes on the restored towpath (where the horses/mules pulled the boats).

We rode 15 miles and saw old locks, beautiful scenery, and the site of a paper mill (which made cement bags).

We spent the rest of the afternoon / evening relaxing at the RV.
9/12/25 - We spent the day in downtown Cleveland, walking around several areas: The Flats, the Warehouse District, Public Square, and North Coast Harbor. We also saw the venues for their basketball, baseball, and football teams.

We will return to Ohio (Dayton area) after we spend the next few days in the Detroit area.
